Instrumental Music, Lesson, & Guitar Class

A native of Swanton, Vermont, Eric Bushey is a graduate of the University of Vermont with a degree in Music Education. He has been the director instrumental music at Bellows Free Academy in St. Albans Since 1996. During this time he has been responsible for Concert Band, Wind Ensemble, Pit Orchestras, Jazz Bands and Marching Band. Eric was voted the BFA Teacher of the Year in 2001.
Eric has been featured as a saxophone soloist with the Vermont Wind Ensemble and the UVM Concert Band. He has also performed regularly with the Bach Wind Philharmonia, the UVM Saxophone Quartet, the Generation Sax Quartet, Sterling Weeds Imperial Orchestra and several other bands and big bands throughout the state. Eric also performs on jazz and funk guitar in the Nouveau Jazztet and Pushback quartet.
Choral Music, Piano Lab, Music Technology

Armand Messier holds a Master’s Degree in Music Technology from Indiana University at IUPUI. He is also a graduate of Saint Michael’s College in Colchester, Vermont with a Bachelor of Arts in Fine Arts-Music. After Graduating from St. Michael's College, Mr. Messier endeavored to construct a state-of-the-art recording studio in his native town of Swanton, Vermont. Today, Messier’s Recording Studio serves the interests of musicians and ensembles from around the region.
Since the 2000-2001 year, Mr. Messier has been the choral director at Bellows Free Academy in St. Albans, Vermont. Mr. Messier is responsible for teaching mixed chorus, vocal ensembles, piano lab, and music technology classes.
